Oh Mercy is the 26th studio album by American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan, released on September 18, 1989 by Columbia Records. Oh Mercy gave Dylan his best chart showing in years, reaching No. 30 on the Billboard charts in the United States and No. 6 in the UK.

In the case of Oh Mercy's new album Cafe Oblivion, a record of languid observations and hallucinatory segues, it was these: a home studio in the corner of singer-songwriter Alex Gow's bedroom, the windows open during a hot Melbourne summer, the cricket on in the background, and a contented musician at work wearing nothing more than a pair of jocks. I wasn't feeling sad at all when I wrote this album. I was comfortable and creative – the best word, musically, I could use is playful. The track Lee & Nancy references Gow's love for 1960s songwriter and producer Lee Hazlewood (alongside collaborator Nancy Sinatra), while a saxophone sound coaxed from a Mellotron keyboard recalls the oboe playing Amanda Brown brought to the Go-Betweens in the late 1980s. The garish can be graceful and vice-versa, all elevating Gow's lyrics.

Oh Mercy are an indie rock band, formed as a duo in Melbourne in 2006 by former De La Salle College students Alexander Gow on lead vocals and guitar, and Thomas Savage on lead vocals, piano and guitar. The band name is from Bob Dylan's September 1989 album of the same name. Their music has received high rotation on Australian national radio station, Triple J, since April 2007. Oh Mercy expanded to a quartet by 2008 with Eliza Lam on bass guitar and Peter McDonald on drums.

Melbourne's Oh Mercy, headed by songwriter Alexander Gow, is a young indie rock band with serious talent. Says Alex of the first single from the fourth Oh Mercy album - still untitled. Sandy is a fast song. Faster than the other ones. It really just depends on how you count the bars. And which song you compare it to. Faster than a real slow song.

Jesus you love me too much (Oh-oh-oh) Too much (Oh) Too much (Oh) Excess love (Oh). Mercy Chinwo is a Nigerian vocalist lyricist and performing artist. Chinwo first came to noticeable quality in the wake of winning the Etisalat and Pepsi supported Nigerian Idol Season 2 out of 2012. Chinwo’s dad kicked the bucket when she was at a youthful age. She began her melodic profession by loaning her vocals to melodic tasks by gospel music craftsmen, for example, Sammie Okposo, Joe Praize, Buchi, Chris Morgan, and Preye.

A virtual passport to Paris: Oh Mercy and Gossling show us what love in the afternoon sounds like for the forthcoming album Mélodie Française. This is just one croissant-scented taste of the homegrown compilation that saw names like The Jezabels and Dappled Cities testing out their French vowels.

Melbourne's Oh Mercy, headed by songwriter Alexander Go. Check out my latest song Have A Little Faith on the Vast compilation. A very special project and accompanying album.

Nigerian gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo is out with a single titled Excess Love. Excess Love simply narrates the abundant, unending and magnanimous love of Christ. In few words but with powerful melody she describes the love of Jesus which has been given to all persons who are willing to receive it. YOU MAY ALSO LIKE: Mercy Chinwo – Chinedum. The song and its sound is ethereal, soothing and exudes a supernatural atmosphere in which the miraculous can take place. The production interpretation by Dr Roy of EeZee Productionz is in itself out of the box, making it music for the glory of the King. What else can we say? YOU MAY ALSO LIKE: Mercy Chinwo – Oh Jesus
